i went to clifton’s cafeteria today on broadway.
i was with a friend, brian, yet we both agreed that the outing was decidedly lonely.
there was a man on the lower level eating by himself in all white with a light-up feathered pimp hat. and a good number of old single men alone and desperate for conversation.
the food was miserable but the decor cheerful and nostalgic, creepy. warm...
